Swarnali Singh is a contemporary visual artist whose practice flows gracefully between realism and impressionism. Working primarily in oil and watercolor, her paintings are quiet contemplations—emerging from observation, memory, and a deep sensitivity to the emotional resonance of everyday moments. Born and raised in Jabalpur and now based in Mumbai, Swarnali has found creative grounding within a vibrant artistic community that nurtures her evolving visual language.
Her works often explore themes of solitude, selfhood, and the poetry of stillness. Swarnali’s brushwork balances precision with looseness, allowing her subjects to breathe and shift, much like memory itself. Whether through the translucency of watercolor or the rich texture of oil, her art captures ephemeral moods and introspective states.
Parallel to her traditional practice, Swarnali has also engaged deeply with digital painting and illustration. She made a notable entrance into the NFT space with two successful collections: Little Women and I Am the Story, both celebrated for their quiet strength and emotive clarity. Her work within this global digital sphere connected her to diverse artistic voices and culminated in a proud moment when her stylized rendering of Picasso was featured at the Picasso Museum in Barcelona during an experiential art fest in 2022.
Trained as an Agricultural Engineer with a management background, Swarnali previously worked in banking and e-commerce before devoting herself fully to art. Today, her multidisciplinary journey informs a practice that is both technically assured and emotionally resonant—a voice that continues to deepen, reflect, and inspire.
