Kaushal’s Media Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 with its registered office at 901-902, Hiramanek CHS Ltd., 178/180 Dadi Seth Agiary Lane, Chira Bazar, Mumbai 400002 (“Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) is managing and operating this website www.imeandesign.com (“Website”), which inter alia facilitates the sale and purchase of products and services listed and sold (“Products”) on Our Website. The term “User”, “You” or “Your” means any individual which uses, accesses or browses the Website and/or purchases the Products on Our Website.

 

The Terms of Use published on the Website shall be deemed to be incorporated herein by reference. This Policy, read together with the Terms of Use, sets out the Company’s procedures and policies towards delivery and shipping of Products purchased on the Website.

 

1.              SHIPPING CARRIER

 

The Company primarily ships domestic orders through reputable logistics partners (“Shiprocket”). Details of the Logistics Partner responsible for shipping and delivery of your purchased product(s) will be shared once the product has been processed and handed over to the Logistics Partner.

 

Our standard dispatch timelines range between 7 (seven) to 15 (fifteen) days from the date of order placement, depending on the delivery location. An estimated delivery timeline will be displayed on the order confirmation page at the time your order is confirmed, and the same will also be communicated to you via email and/or SMS to the contact details provided by you. We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

 

While the Company facilitates delivery through its Logistics Partners, you acknowledge and understand that the actual delivery of the products is carried out by the respective Logistics Partner and the delivery timelines will be communicated separately to you by the Logistics Partner.

 

In certain cases, suppliers or sellers who ship products directly may use alternative shipping methods, and in such instances, their respective logistics partner will provide you with the relevant shipping and tracking details.  

 

2.              WHERE WE SHIP

 

We ship to most locations across India. However, you acknowledge and understand that while we endeavour to deliver our products throughout the country, the Company may, at its sole discretion, designate certain areas as unserviceable for delivery. Neither the Company nor its Logistics Partners shall provide shipping or delivery services to such unserviceable areas, and any orders placed for delivery to those locations may not be processed.

 

If an area is deemed unserviceable, you will be notified at the time of placing your order on the Website. You may also check the serviceability of your delivery location by entering the relevant PIN code on the Website prior to placing an order.

 

3.              DELAY IN SHIPPING

 

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure that purchased Products are delivered within the timelines communicated to you, you acknowledge and agree that delivery may be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

 

(a)           Logistical or operational issues;

(b)           Unfavourable weather conditions;

(c)           Political disturbances, strikes, or lockouts;

(d)           Acts of God, such as floods, earthquakes, or other natural calamities; and

(e)           Any other unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances.

 

We also work with suppliers and sellers based outside India, and shipments originating from such locations may experience longer delivery timelines due to customs clearance procedures and other regulatory requirements. Any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes are beyond our control.

 

In the event of any such delay, we shall make reasonable efforts to notify you via email and/or SMS using the contact details registered with us. However, the Company disclaims all liability for any failure or delay in providing such notification or for any loss, inconvenience or claim arising from a delay in shipment, delivery or use of the purchased Products. The Company shall be under no obligation to compensate you in such cases.

 

4.              SHIPPING RATES

 

The delivery rates applicable to each product, based on the delivery location, are generally displayed at the checkout stage before You confirm Your order. However, due to the unique characteristics of certain products, shipping costs may vary depending on multiple factors such as the delivery destination, product dimensions, weight, nature, and fragility of the items being shipped. Any additional charges, if any, will be clearly communicated to you in advance, prior to the final confirmation of your order.
