I don’t paint

I write in colours..

I always say it about my paintings.. Because I actually use letters as a form in my paintings.

But even other way round,

Any painting is not just a painted surface.. but there is a vast past and a story beneath it virtually and

story is always carried by text

While painting a space in front of me

When I just look behind

I see a much wider canvas with

multiple layers of success and un-success, full with emotions,

tears and laughter,

loaded with so many experiments and so on.

These layers have socio-political corners too.

This canvas is more colorful.

This canvas is life behind art.

When I see it I also see that any of my artform is not without life.

And as life is connected with society,

this canvas has also deeply rooted in the society.

The art is flourished with every aspect of life.

And even art is entangled with each and every subject of human endeavor.

As simply we can not produce colours without chemistry.

We can not draw a proportionate drawing without math.

And an artist cannot survive without society.  

And yes it is never not a one day achievement.

I observed that even a single line or thought I draw today is evolved from several years of life experience and practice.
